About Brazil


Brazil is a Federative Republic organized in three separate branches: executive, legislative and judiciary. The country is divided administratively into 26 states and the Federal District, in Brasilia. Brazil has a codified legal system and, as federative republic, it rules and regulations are established by the Federal Government, the States, the Federal District and the Municipalities.
